About SPM Oil & Gas:

SPM Oil & Gas is responsible for the marketing, sales, and manufacturing of oilfield equipment and services. Headquartered in the Fort Worth, Texas area, our US and global facilities enable us to support our customers wherever they are located in the world.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the SPM Oil & Gas Senior Director of Finance, the Senior Manager Finance leads a team supporting product cost, NPI support, operational support, and inventory and material analysis. This role is the key business partner for our product management, operations and supply chain teams.

  • Collaborate with internal partners as well as outside business unit teams to deliver high quality business outcomes for the enterprise.
  • Present and effectively communicate product analysis and results to leadership.
  • Effectively lead a diverse team, focused on proper talent development, succession planning, performance management, and target setting.

What You Have:

  • Leadership: Ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future and how to get there. Champions behaviors that inspire cohesiveness and move the organization to reach a vision.
  • Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Experience in cost and new product introduction accounting.
  • Experience in a large, industrial or manufacturing company’s finance function, with a solid understanding of core accounting processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage and grow personal business acumen, challenging the team to deliver the best enterprise result
  • Ability to work well with multiple business partners across the organization

Summary Pay Range:

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
