Job Title: Northern Europe District Distribution Development Rep

Salary: £ 57,737 - £ 70,000 (depending on experience)

Benefits: 10% Bonus target, Share Scheme (50% Company Matched), Contributory Pension Scheme (Contribution double by Company up to 10%), Free Car Parking, Caterpillar Advantage website, 27 days annual leave + bank holidays

Contract: Permanent

Location: Solihull

Travel Requirements: Up to 30% travel

Job Description

EAME Distribution mission is to deliver superior customer experience, profitable market leadership and services growth through industry-best distribution performance. We provide governance and administration of Cat® dealers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia.

Join the EAME Distribution Team as a Distribution Development Representative to advise on marketing and sales initiatives and dealer/customer related strategies, systems and processes.

About The Role / What You Will Do:

  • Answering enquiries and resolving problems regarding business plan execution, operational improvement and achievement of targets.

  • Advising on existing and potential customer experiences issues and improvement measures.

  • Consult with dealers on ways to improve marketing and sales capabilities, supporting the overall business development process.

  • Govern dealer execution of the programs that increase sales and improve customer experience.

What Will Put You Forward:

  • Proven experience within the mining, construction or power & energy industries, an OEM environment, or management consulting.

  • Extensive experience in strategy consulting and execution

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related discipline

  • Experience working within a multinational organization, with the ability to navigate global stakeholders, diverse cultures, and matrixed reporting structures.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including delivering compelling public presentations and building trust and credibility with executive dealer management teams and industry directors.

  • Project management capability, including planning, prioritization, coordination of cross‑functional teams, and delivery of high‑impact initiatives.

Relationship Management:

Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Project Management:

Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Value Selling:

Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

  • Onsite 5 days per week in Solihull.

  • Relocation will not be supported.
