Job Summary:

Supports process development, capacity expansion and new product/source introduction projects for the continuous improvement of the safety, quality, velocity and cost of manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical expertise and guidance in major manufacturing projects, working with internal/external suppliers to support/improve manufacturing productivity and cost effectiveness.
• Implementing major systems and the coordination of those systems with the total plant.
• Communicating with internal/external suppliers to analyze their current or proposed product/process designs to determine feasibility of using existing designs or modifying the designs to improve process and/or product. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders and process partners.
• Providing guidance to manufacturing engineers and operators to develop high quality products and processes.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Skills:

Capacity Planning & Management:

• Plan and forecast resources for product development.
• Advise on capacity planning cycles and evaluate strategies.
• Convert demand forecasts into production plans.

Computer-Aided Design & Engineering:

• Create and modify parts using CAD software.
• Use standard procedures for efficient design.
• Produce 2D/3D diagrams and update schematics.

Decision Making & Critical Thinking:

• Apply structured critical thinking to decisions.
• Gather data and document processes.
• Evaluate risks and prioritize key issues.

Engineering (Manufacturing):

• Assist with technical issues and specs.
• Handle routine engineering tasks and repairs.
• Follow standards and report challenges.

Project Management:

• Estimate costs and schedules.
• Organize and monitor projects.
• Manage risks, reviews, and communication.

Robotics & Computer-Controlled Machinery:

• Configure and troubleshoot robots.
• Identify automation opportunities.
• Support robot deployment analysis.

Technical Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and analyze systems.
• Document technical issues and resolutions.

Additional information:

• This position will be in Reynosa, Tamaulipas
• This position is five-days a week in-office model
• This position will require travelling 10% working time (International).
