What you will do:

  • Oversees and coordinates all sales and marketing activities for a significant client or specific client group.
  • Following organizational policies and procedures and maintaining clear and direct line of communication within the organization to meet customer requirements.
  • Consult with dealers and internal business partners on the subject of sales and service support of product to “corporate account” customers.

During the first 3 months you will focus on:

  • Establishing and/or developing relationships with SEMD, Cat Financial and Region contacts with which you will be working.

  • Engaging key Dealers through relationship skills and corporate platforms to ensure alignment with the accounts.

Annual work-related activities to accomplish strategic account growth goals include:

  • Negotiating and closing Cat Direct Service Solutions contracts with customers

  • Prospecting and growing a profitable portfolio of services, prime product, and parts.

  • Maintaining and nurturing existing customer relationships within current contracts and accounts.

  • Designing appropriate solutions proposals to generate positive customer outcomes and improve the customer experience through in depth understanding with mutual profitability growth.

  • Completing and supporting in-depth energy solution application and commercial assessments of the customer's vessels and business operations.

  • Working with Cat Dealers and internal Caterpillar business partners (i.e. product groups, Sales Support team) to spec and price the equipment for fleets in support of solution design.

Skills:

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
What you will have

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Advanced English and Spanish

  • Marine applications Knowlegde/experience

  • Excellent communication and dealer management abilities.

Additional Infomation

This position requires traveling 50 - 70% of the time

Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
