Carrier Marine and Offshore Systems provides advanced air conditioning products and systems for everything from cruise ships to offshore platforms and oil tankers. We are seeking a customer-focused Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our Marine team and help drive technical excellence and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in air conditioning, refrigeration design, heat transfer, fan systems, and electronic control systems.

• Supervise project performance and ensure timely delivery.

• Manage project costs effectively, identifying opportunities for savings to maximize profitability.

• Troubleshoot project challenges and recommend practical solutions.

• Communicate directly with external customers, providing technical support and guidance.

• Support marine dealers and customers across Carrier’s product portfolio.

• Collaborate with internal teams and Carrier factories to resolve technical and scheduling issues.

• Present findings and corrective actions clearly to customers.

• Work with Carrier factories and external suppliers to ensure designs meet customer requirements.

• Manage subcontractors and oversee compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Participate in all phases of projects—from design through installation and commissioning—ensuring technical compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, hydraulic and electronic control systems.

• Marine industry experience is highly desirable.

• Proven experience leading project teams or managing multiple small to mid-sized projects.

• Familiarity with commercial or industrial HVAC components, systems, and controls.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues effectively.

• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work independently under minimal supervision.

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and prioritization abilities.

• Strong follow-up and follow-through skills to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

• Exceptional communication and technical writing skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, AutoCAD/Eplan is a plus.

• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
