About this role

ALC has an opportunity for an **Associate Project Manager **who will take responsibility for smaller commercial installation projects in a building solutions environment and work hand in hand on similar larger project with the Project Manager. The Associate Project Manager will also work closely with subcontractors & cross-functional teams.

The Associate Project Manager will be working in office and at various** clients’ sites** in Reno Nevada.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects following project processes and where applicable under direction from Sr. Project Manager
• Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction
• Responsible for the overall financial performance of assigned projects including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects.
• Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope
• Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues
• Manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any issues

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 + years experience in project management in mechanical, electrical or commercial construction environment
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree or Technical Trade school
• Experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation
• Windows & Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and Access
• Self-starter, be able to organize and plan work schedules
• Work well in a team environment
• Problem solving, planning and project management skills
• Read contract documents and design drawings to understand the scope of work
• English written and verbal communication skills
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Project financial reporting

Pay Range:

$66,250.00-$92,750.00
