Aftermarket and Services is one of Carrier’s three strategic growth imperatives, and the AM&S team sits at the heart of it. We work across the full spectrum of Carrier’s portfolio – Commercial HVAC, Light Commercial and Residential HVAC and Cold Chain – to transform Carrier from a product-centric company to one focused on creating value throughout the product lifecycle.
About the role
The AM&S team reports to the Senior Vice President, Global Services and Business Development and works closely with AM&S leaders within Carrier’s business units. Team priorities can generally be categorized into the following buckets: increasing aftermarket parts capture, driving service attachment, accelerating mods and upgrades, enhancing digital/connected service offerings, and leading change management.
The Director is responsible for owning key components of AM&S, and leads cross-functional project teams to accelerate growth, improve customer service, and expand margins. We are looking for a high-energy, highly collaborative aftermarket athlete to join our team. This position will specifically own the parts and service transformation for the Climate Solutions Europe team, in addition to leading the Global AM Service Council and managing external investor relations updates. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior business and functional leaders across Carrier, and has proven to be an excellent stepping stone to significant operating roles in our business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own strategies and roadmaps/project plans in support of Carrier AM&S growth
- Own development of strategic initiatives with focus on CSE HVAC
- Collaborate with BU AM&S leaders to execute the playbook
- Lead cross-functional project teams to drive specific outcomes and deliver results
- Synthesize unstructured data (internal/external, qualitative/quantitative) to extract key insights
- Present recommendations and report outcomes to BU leaders, ELT, including our CEO
- Act as an advisor to business unit leaders on best practices related to AM&S
- Partner with BUs to update and implement AM&S playbook in the businesses
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 + years of strategic consulting or corporate business experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
- Graduate degree
- 5 years of aftermarket and services experience within manufacturing or industrial companies or as a strategy consultant
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills
- Strong bias to collaboration, action, and outcomes
- Comfortable in a high-visibility and dynamic environment
- Understanding of key drivers of aftermarket parts and service businesses
- Willingness to relocate to Carrier WHQ in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

This position is entitled to both short and long-term incentives, subject to plan requirements.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is $218,000. – $305,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
