About the role

• Seasoned Systems Engineering professional, working independently. Converts product requirements into total system solutions, leads trade studies, and implements common work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr. System Engineer, she or he will be responsible for:

• Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design
• Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirements
• Develop and optimize heat exchanger components in collaboration with heat transfer technology experts
• Validate product design performance, capability and reliability in the laboratory and field
• Collaborate with the compression team to seamlessly integrate the compressor design into the chiller design
• Collaborate with supply chain to meet product cost target
• Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production
• Collaborate with the product marketing teams to develop product requirements and that the product their meets their needs when launched
• Able to lead individual new product development projects

Requirements

As a minimum must have:

• Master degree with major in Refrigeration & Cryogenics Engineering
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Screw/scroll chiller experience preferred
• Teamwork skills required
