About the role
Carrier Digital Hub Prague is looking for a passionate candidate to join our Digital ERP CoE team. As part of Carrier's digital transformation, this role is the Associate for S/4 HANA - CFIN. This role requires ERP Finance expertise to support Finance work streams in implementing Record to Report functionality to support efficient business processes to meet business goals and objectives including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP standard methodologies and Carrier templates.

Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Finance/ Accounting related field is preferred.
-
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the information technology and/or responsibilities within CFIN, Finance a related area of business.

Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP- CFIN project delivery or support
-
S/4 HANA finance, controlling and asset management knowledge.

Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy.

Responsibilities
-
Solid understanding of SAP Central Finance fundamentals, including architecture, key functionalities, and integration points. Gain knowledge of Carrier’s financial and management accounting processes and associated mapping and replication of financial data from source systems to the CFIN system.

Assist in maintaining mapping tables (e.g., cost centers, profit centers, GL accounts) and support configuration activities in areas like document splitting, ledger setup, or currency settings.

Monitor the replication of financial data from source systems to the CFIN system, troubleshoot basic issues related to SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) replication or AIF (Application Interface Framework), and ensure data consistency across modules.

Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Validate financial postings in the CFIN system against source systems, document test cases, results, and any identified issues.

Prepare and update project documentation, including process flows, configurations, and test scripts. Assist in creating user manuals or training material for end users, monitor and respond to support tickets for minor issues, and collaborate with the team to analyze and resolve technical and functional issues.
