About the role

• As part of Carrier’s Digital transformation, the holder of this role serves as the Product Manager, S4 HANA Finance. Additionally, this role supports the governance of the Finance work stream within projects or ongoing operations to ensure the delivery of required ERP functionalities

• The incumbent will report to the S4 HANA Functional Leader

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or Finance related discipline(s) in combination with a solid IT background

• Minimum of 10 years of experience within the information technology and/or responsibilities within Finance related area of business.

• Minimum of 7 years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP ERP project delivery or support.

• S4/HANA finance, controlling knowledge

• Results orientation, striving to bolster personal and team results

• Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills

• Open and able to work in culturally diverse environment

• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy

• “Agile-development” mindset with customer-focus

• Spoken and written English is mandatory

• Willing to travel internationally

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate ERP solutions in accordance with both functional and non-functional requirements as outlined by projects or platform enhancements.

• Perform scoping, fit-to-standard workshops for projects/enhancements, proposes solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimates and align with business teams

• Define and prioritize SAP ERP product features in collaboration with business subject matter experts

• Demonstrate expertise in defect resolution and system processes, and guide customers how to use the system efficiently

• Explore newly released ERP features to increase customer satisfaction and boost continuous improvement – initiate, align and implement

• Coach and mentor junior team members within the work stream domain

• Provide digital / technical advice and consultancy to clients

• Lead SAP ERP software deliveries with a heavy focus on reuse and standardization

• Support the functional leader in other activities that align with the role's competencies and experience
