About the role

  • Analyzing incidents, near misses and environmental deviations using root cause methodologies, defining corrective and preventive actions and verifying their effectiveness.

  • Ensuring compliance with applicable Mexican legal requirements and corporate standards related to Industrial Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental regulations.

  • Implementing and maintaining the hazardous and non-hazardous waste management plan, including segregation, labeling, temporary storage, documentation and coordination with authorized waste vendors.

  • Executing EHS inspections, internal audits and plant safety walks, documenting findings, evaluating risk levels and ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, proactive, organized and committed to safety and environmental responsibility. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) within a manufacturing plant or industrial environment.

  • Knowledge of Mexican EHS regulations related to Industrial Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental compliance.

  • Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, root cause analysis and implementation of preventive controls.

  • Conversational English with the ability to participate in meetings and basic written communication.

  • Valid U.S. visa and availability to travel when required.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience implementing industrial hygiene programs and exposure monitoring.

  • Knowledge of hazardous waste management and environmental reporting processes.

  • Experience delivering EHS training programs and safety awareness initiatives within plant environments.
