About the Role

The Manufacturing Engineer is a critical position that will play a key role in the development of large-size NPI programs and support manufacturing daily operations. This position is focused in the operation support side and should ensure new and modified processes are aligned with high-performance Carrier standards.

Key Responsabilities

Developing of accurate and specific RFQ for tools and machinery required to support the change or introduction of a new product. Critical aspects such as Safety, Ergonomics, Quality and Performance should be considered.

Machinery and Tooling Selection. Ensure machinery and tooling selected are capable to have performance over 95%. (Quality, Availability, Downtime).

Develop and Implement Maintenance Plan. Every equipment and tool should have a robust maintenance plan based on TPM methodology.

Design and Implement critical processes where CTQ (Critical-to-Quality) are required. Processes including KC/AMC's specfications should perform at >1.33 CPK or Milestone 4 according to Process Certification Carrier standards. FPY, COPQ, Warranties and Escapes should meet Carrier target.

Ensure processes are capable to meet customers demand (> 1.5 Mll units yearly).

Built and Program dates MUST be accomplished according to the main project schedule. These include MCS, Pilot and SOP built.

Processes should meet with EHS criteria through ensuring alignment with EHS stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree: Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronic Enginner or similar.

Experience: 3-5 years.

English written and spoken.
