About the role

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will lead financial forecasting and reporting for the NA Applied Equipment (Role#1-Chillers / Role#2-Airside) products. Your insights will guide leadership decisions, ensure financial accuracy, and support strategic initiatives. This role offers high visibility with Commercial HVAC leadership and the opportunity to influence business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and presenting monthly forecasts to leadership, explaining variances to prior forecasts, prior year, and plan, while articulating risks and opportunities.

• Leading the development, preparation, and consolidation of the annual financial plan.

• Partnering cross-functionally to ensure strategies align with forecast commitments, identifying gaps, and creating actionable assurance plans with measurable outcomes.

• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly financial close in accordance with published calendars, including review, approval, and posting of transactions in local finance systems and HFM.

• Reviewing and reconciling P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and supplemental data with the corporate HFM system.

• Preparing and distributing daily book & ship reports and weekly orders & backlog reporting with commentary.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting.

• Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, budgeting/forecasting processes, and cost analysis.

• Ability to analyze large datasets and present insights in a clear, actionable format.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively present recommendations and drive results.

• Advanced English (C1 or C2)

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Exposure to Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), SAP, and Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to identify innovative processes for efficiency and simplicity.

• Solid interpersonal skills to collaborate across all functions and organizational levels.
