About the role

As a Legal Specialist, you will support CMX Legal operations by contributing to litigation processes, insurance claim recoveries, and legal strategy execution. In this role, you will directly impact the protection of CMX’s corporate interests and help ensure that business decisions align with current legal requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Specialist you’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting legal advice to individuals and business units concerning corporate rights, obligations, and legal risks.
• Supporting coordination with external law firms across all lawsuits involving CMX.
• Supporting insurance recovery processes related to claims.
• Administering and managing Teams Connect for the Legal department.
• Communicating legal policies and procedures related to litigation in commercial, government, employment, and environmental matters.
• Supporting the development of functional legal strategies for the CMX Legal Department.
• Providing support to other CMX Legal areas as needed.
• Ensuring daily legal tasks align with current legal requirements, trends, and interpretations.

Requirements:

We are looking for people who are proactive, detail-oriented, and strong communicators. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Full professional fluency in English.

• Theoretical and practical legal knowledge, specialized in Litigation and Civil, Labor, and Administrative lawsuits.

• Minimum 3 years of legal experience.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, etc.).

• Experience in insurance claim recovery processes.

• Experience coordinating with external law firms

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience working in multinational corporate environments.

• Ability to promptly respond to queries within your area of expertise.

• Ability to provide timely support in CMX Legal projects and processes.

• Ability to work under the supervision of the Operations Sr. Legal Manager.
