About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant Support Engineer to provide technical expertise and drive Carrier product specification through strong engagement with MEP consultants and design offices. This role involves influencing project designs, providing technical support, and ensuring Carrier solutions are included in consultant specifications and tender documents.

The Consultant Support Engineer will collaborate closely with Sales and Application Engineering teams to align technical and commercial priorities, support ongoing design-stage projects, and build strong relationships with key consultant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Consultant Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Consultant Engagement

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants and design offices.

• Promote Carrier’s product portfolio through technical presentations, design support, and compliance documentation.

• Ensure Carrier systems are specified in consultant designs and project tender documents.

Technical Support

• Review HVAC designs and specifications to identify opportunities for Carrier solutions.

• Provide technical training, design assistance, and after-specification support to consultant partners.

• Coordinate closely with Sales and Application Engineering teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment.

Project Tracking & Market Knowledge

• Track ongoing projects from the design stage to tender submission to ensure successful follow-through.

• Stay up to date on industry standards, competitor offerings, and market trends to support proactive engagement.

Role Purpose

To provide technical expertise and support to consultants, ensuring Carrier products are specified in projects and aligned with customer and project requirements. The role drives product preference, strengthens relationships with key consultants, and ensures compliance with standards and specifications to maximize business opportunities.

Requirements

We are looking for people who have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC design, application, or consultant liaison roles.

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF, DX, etc.).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software (e.g., HAP).

• Ability to manage multiple consultant accounts and drive technical influence effectively.
