Build a career with confidence

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is committed to creating solutions that matter for people and our planet for generations to come. From the beginning, we've led in inventing new technologies and entirely new industries. Today, we continue to lead because we have a world‑class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.

About the role

As a Supplier Quality Development Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the technical robustness and long‑term quality of supplier processes. This position directly impacts product reliability, customer satisfaction, and warranty performance by eliminating variation at the source and strengthening supplier manufacturing processes. You will work closely with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to ensure components enter our system with stable, predictable quality.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supplier Quality Development Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring supplier process capability by eliminating variation at the source through rigorous validation, effective process controls, and disciplined change management.

  • Establishing and governing technical quality standards, incoming requirements, and verification methods to prevent supplier quality escapes.

  • Leading structured root‑cause analysis and long‑term preventive actions focused on long‑term robustness rather than recurring corrective actions.

  • Working directly with suppliers to validate manufacturing processes, improve capability, and proactively prevent defects.

  • Collaborating cross‑functionally with Engineering, NPD, Procurement, Operations, and suppliers, influencing decisions through technical expertise and data.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are driven, analytical, structured, and able to influence through technical knowledge. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related technical field).

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and process controls for mechanical and electro‑mechanical components

  • 3–5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Process Engineering, preferably in a high‑mix or component‑intensive environment.

  • Proven experience working directly with suppliers to validate processes, improve capability, and prevent quality escapes.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • APQP and PPAP experience.

  • Core Tools knowledge (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA).

  • Green Belt certification.

  • Experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQA) or Project Engineer.

Benefits

We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees and enhancing our programs when necessary.

  • Have peace of mind for body and mind with our health insurance.

  • Drive your career forward through professional development and growth opportunities.

Our commitment to you

Our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity, and passion of our employees. We strive to provide a great place to work that attracts, develops, and retains the best talent, promotes employee engagement, fosters teamwork, and drives innovation for the benefit of our customers. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels they belong, with diversity and inclusion as the engine for growth and innovation.
