Carnival UK is seeking a Business & Process Analysis Manager who combines strong, hands‑on Business Analysis capability with proven people management experience.

This is a player–manager role. You will personally deliver complex Business Analysis work while line managing and developing a team of Business Analysts, taking clear accountability for their performance, capability, and progression. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver hands-on Business Analysis for large and complex change initiatives, including requirements definition and process modelling.
  • Line manage a team of Business Analysts, with formal accountability for performance, wellbeing and capability, including objective setting, development planning, absence management and adherence to HR policies and processes.
  • Plan and manage BA resources across multiple initiatives, ensuring effective allocation and delivery.
  • Own and embed Business Analysis standards, tools and ways of working, driving consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong partnerships with business and technology stakeholders across Carnival UK and the DTO.
  • Contribute to and shape the DTO Business Analysis community of practice.

Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK07, offered as a full-time position, on a fixed term basis for12-months. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

Requirements: Your Expertise and Leadership

To thrive as a Business & Process Analysis Manager, we're looking for:

  • Strong, demonstrable experience in a core, hands-on Business Analyst role, not solely oversight or governance.
  • Deep knowledge of industry-standard BA techniques and frameworks (e.g. BCS / ISEB).
  • Proven ability to analyse complex problems, model processes and produce high-quality requirements.
  • Experience assessing the feasibility and impact of business and technology change.
  • Proven, formal line management experience, including performance and absence management, objective setting, development planning and applying HR policies and processes.
  • Evidence of coaching and developing Business Analysts at different levels of experience.
  • Confidence addressing people‑related challenges constructively, balancing individual needs with team and organisational priorities.

About You: A Catalyst for Change

We believe that diversity enriches our team. We're interested in candidates who:

  • Self-Mastery: Reflects on impact, learns from experience, and acts to continuously improve.
  • Engage & Empower: Coaches others, invites input, and creates an environment where people do their best work.
  • Improve & Innovate: Identifies and implements useful ideas that enhance guest or people experience.
  • Accountability & Commerciality: Displays a can-do attitude, takes responsibility for decisions, and considers commercial impact.
