This position is in Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

Job Purpose and Impact:

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to develop business on Foodservice channel in oils, protein and gourmet chocolate. Your mission will be to implement the commercial policy defined by the company in the oil, chocolate, and protein businesses. As part of a dynamic, rapidly expanding foodservice team, you will report to the foodservice director, this strategic position is essential to strengthening our market presence and achieving our ambitious targets in terms of turnover and profitability.

The location of the position is based in the Netherlands.

  • Key Accountabilities

  • Develop sales and profitability for oils, chocolate, protein product portfolio with distributors and chains account customers

  • Define the strategy and action plan for each of the customers under your responsibility

  • Negotiate annual framework commercial agreements

  • Ensure excellent commercial follow-up and execution of the action plan defined for a portfolio of existing customers.

  • Be able to identify customer needs and offer them appropriate products and services.

  • In conjunction with other departments within the company, oversee the development of cross-functional projects.

  • Understand how the vegetable oil and chocolate markets work and be able to use this knowledge to your advantage when dealing with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 5 years' experience in key account management in a foodservice environment, providing you with solid and significant skills in the field of commerce and negotiation

  • Ability to work independently while strictly adhering to internal operating processes

  • Fluent in English

  • Preferred second language: German
