Job Purpose and Impact:

The Director of China Sales will grow direct and embedded derivatives sales activities through building and strengthening relationships with existing customers and business enterprises. In this role, you will focus on the customer to understand their objectives to present executable quotes, execute trades, coordinate with credit, compliance and operations to support business strategies to ensure profitable growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify, proactively call, initiate, onboard and develop new derivatives customer relationships.
  • Interface directly with over the counter swap and futures customers, offering futures and customized risk management tailored solutions to assist in mitigating commodity price risk.
  • Perform dual derivatives sales trader responsibilities that include client onboarding and servicing commercial hedges and institutional investors.
  • Communicate risk management's value proposition across multiple levels within the customer's organization.
  • Participate in planning, developing and delivering the marketing strategy for products, services and associated brands.
  • Establish and implement short to mid term plans that have an impact on business results aligned with parent or independent organization objectives.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of twelve years work experience, six years of related work experience

  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three years of supervisory experience
