This position is in Cargill's animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.
Job Purpose and Impact:
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the nutritional dialogue with our compound feed customers and dsitributors in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Your knowledge and experience in ruminant nutrition make you a valued sparring partner for our customers' nutritionists and field service teams.

Key Accountabilities

You will help identify and lead interactions with customers to capitalize on commercial opportunities and develop new business.

You will develop new feed concepts, customer solutions, and market approaches based on our extensive product portfolio. We do this together with our customers and ensure they receive high quality service.

You will also ensure the correct application of our latest technologies and innovations from Cargill's research & development organization.

You will regularly collaborate on projects with various international colleagues.

You will monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends and participate in regular status and strategy meetings with customers' senior management to understand and meet their needs.

You will develop and maintain key-account plans, regularly reporting progress and forecasts as input for the regional commercial business and financial planning. Execute sales plans with strategies to protect, grow and diversify relationships with targeted customers.

Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in animal or veterinary science.
-
Proven working experience in ruminant nutrition and/or husbandry in Sales and Technology
-
Experience in technical applications and sale of feed additives.
-
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and verbal. German is a definite plus.

Ability to travel 40% (indicative)

Results-oriented, commercially driven, and a true team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Animal Sciences or veterinary science
- Broadening network within the industry
- Strong interpersonal relationship-building and influencing skills
- Self-starter, but team player.
