This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets, including animal nutrition and health, bioindustrial, road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.

Job Purpose and Impact:

As a Technical Sales Manager you will focus on developing and expanding Cargill's business with feed millers and integrators on a multispecies approach growing the full nutrition solutions: premix, specialties and feed additives in Italy. In this role, you will build relationships with our current and future customers, understanding their needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and solutions. You will work closely with the Italian commercial organization and the EMEA teams to align strategies, secure execution, and strengthen our leadership in the market.

Location: Fiorenzuola area (preferred) or Northern Italy

  • Key Accountabilities
  • Build and manage customer relationships ensuring profitable growth and long-term satisfaction.
  • Identify and capture new business opportunities and deliver value-based solutions that link product benefits to customer outcomes and performance.
  • Coordinate with other technical departments to bring tailor made services to the customers.
  • Coordinate with all the other departments and teams to secure product availability and pricing ensure smooth execution of contracts and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer retention, providing insights into competitor activities, market trends and evolution and report on account performance and pipeline using CRM.
  • Proactively address customer concerns, ensuring high-quality service and quick issue resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Travel: up to 70% across Italy (with some nights out); occasional trips to France or other EMEA platforms.

  • Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal science, Veterinary, Agribusiness, or related field.
  • Proven B2B sales experience in similar roles and technical understanding of animal nutrition.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and communication skills, ability to influence and build trust at multiple organizational levels.
  • Fluent Italian and English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary, Agribusiness, or related field.
  • Experience in selling additives, premixes or nutritional solutions.
  • Familiarity with matrix organizations.
  • Competence with CRM tools, Excel, and Power BI.
