Capital One’s Retail Marketing team is looking for a talented, strategic, and results-focused Senior Associate, Cafe Integrated Marketing Strategist to drive visibility to our brand-defining Cafes. Your Role:
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented marketer with a track record of authoring strategically sound briefs that deliver best-in-class creative across a variety of marketing channels. If you’re a highly collaborative contributor who is adept at bringing ideas to life in creative ways, you may be the perfect match for our Senior Associate, Cafe Integrated Marketing Strategist position.
This role will develop marketing for Cafe campaigns that are rooted in consumer insights, business priorities and seasonal context and come to life in channels both within and outside of the four walls of our Cafes. The ideal candidate will be able to think about not just the creative development, but the measurement and optimization of it, as well as the right channel mix to achieve business goals and meet customers where they are.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop channel plans and creative for integrated marketing campaigns that drive Cafe awareness and key Bank brand equities

Partner with cross-LOB teams to develop an always-on content strategy that tells Capital One products, features and experiences stories across in-Cafe channels like digital signage

Author sound creative briefs, test plans and strategies to guide breakthrough work rooted in consumer insights and drive continued performance and optimization against KPIs across channels

Collaborate with our creative team and agencies to optimize creative assets and deliver best-in-class marketing communications

Work cross-functionally with teams such as brand, business, creative, legal, operations, retail merchandising and corporate communication partners to drive compelling messaging strategies and channel plans that drive awareness of Cafes and deepen understanding of the Cafe value proposition

Champion and adhere to risk management processes and policies

Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of excellence and accuracy

Experienced in brand marketing, multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns and content development.

Experienced in the brand awareness and consideration spaces of the marketing funnel

Effective at working with many stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Able to translate marketing strategies into channel plans and creative tactics

Confident presenting formal recommendations to senior decision makers

Excited by the challenge of influencing & collaborating with various partners of all levels to deliver results

Someone who thrives when navigating ambiguity and working autonomously

A strong team player, focused on achieving results together

Open to mentorship from more senior marketing strategists on our team
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
-
At least 2 years of multi-channel marketing experience on client-side or agency
-
At least 2 years of experience creating and delivering integrated marketing campaigns
Preferred Qualifications:
- Marketing experience in financial services or another heavily regulated industry

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Mc Lean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Associate, Marketing
Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, Marketing
Wilmington, DE: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, Marketing
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
