Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g’day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be time consuming, so we’ll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work — we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. This role sits within Design School, where we help millions of people learn Canva and become confident creators. As a Senior Product Educator, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our learning strategy comes to life at scale — blending deep product knowledge with strong learning judgment.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Owning and leading complex learning outcomes across multiple Canva products and learner levels.
- Translating Canva’s content and product strategy into meaningful, outcome-led learning experiences.
- Leading the development and iteration of learning content across formats, from workshops to scalable educational assets.
- Partnering closely with Product, Platform, Ops and Product Marketing teams to support education-related initiatives.
- Anticipating product changes and evolving learning outcomes to stay aligned with Canva’s roadmap.
- Turning insights into clear recommendations that guide global content production.
- Informally mentoring other Product Educators and modelling best-practice approaches to learning design.
You’re probably a match if
- You think strategically about learning, not just content creation.
- You’re comfortable operating with ambiguity and helping others find clarity.
- You naturally connect learner needs, product direction and business priorities.
- You enjoy influencing without authority and raising the quality bar for those around you.
- You’re passionate about empowering people through education at scale.
Essential skills and experience
- Strong understanding of learning design principles across multiple learner levels.
- Experience shaping and evolving outcome-led education approaches.
- Proven background contributing to or leading learning content or education programs.
- High product fluency, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, approachable learning.
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder influence skills.
Bonus if you have
- Experience scaling learning programs globally.
- Background in education, learning design, marketing, or edtech.
- Experience mentoring or coaching others.
