JOB AWARD CONTINGENT ON PERSONAL INTERVIEW:
JOB TITLE: NO Machine Cleaner (GT)
BUSINESS UNIT: Sanitation
FUNCTION: Cleans manufacturing equipment, production tools, floors.
REPORTS TO: Chris Scott

GRADE/LEVEL (If role is already leveled):
GENERAL SUMMARY: The Machine Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the process equipment to establish a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products. Ensures equipment and facility are effectively sanitized in accordance with established food manufacturing regulations and in compliance with government sanitation requirements. Performs plant cleaning as prescribed by the Master Sanitation Schedule. Maintains general housekeeping in all areas of plant. Utilizes powered cleaning equipment that may include powered lifts, scissors lifts, power washers, foam applicators, steamers, automatic compactors, motors and various non-mechanized equipment. Works independently, in a high efficiency level and learns and performs proper Allergen Elimination Procedures.
- HOURS: Approx. 10:30 P.M. to 6:30 A.M.
- Start times will vary depending upon assigned position
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (Saturdays and/or Sundays Also Required Based on Production Schedule)
Sanitation is a support department. Working over Holidays/during shutdowns may be required.
PRIMARY Employees are expected to work on the sanitation area team of appointment. Employees will be trained how to clean and sanitize the production equipment are area that they have been assigned to. Assignment is dependent on relative crewing needs across the facility.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Aerial Lift Usage/Working at Heights (Training/Certification will be provided)
- Ability to Work in Confined Spaces
- Authorized Lockout-Tagout (Training Provided)
- Working in Sub-Zero Temperatures as Required (PPE Provided)
- Ability to Bend/Crouch/Lift/Kneel/Scrub/Etc.
Repeatedly Throughout the Shift:
- Ability to Use Pressure Washers/Foam Applicators/Steamers/Other Equipment
- Ability to Work Weekends/Holidays as Required

WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
