The Opportunity:
Opportunity: We are seeking talented IT/Engineer professionals excited to improve battlespace awareness and decision-making support at all echelons across Combat Air Force (AF) Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprise, Intelligence Community (IC), Joint, and Coalition air, space, cyberspace, and intelligence components, systems, and architectures. You’ll support software development and engineering, operations and maintenance (O&M) and research and development (R&D) for AF C2 & ISR related research, studies, analysis, operations, and you’ll increase mission effectiveness, improve information security, and implement new and emerging information access, processing, analysis and dissemination technologies in response to critical AF and IC multi-domain needs across Air, Space, and Cyber. Responsibilities:

Operate in all phases of the application lifecycle.
-
Use of industry proven design patterns and open-source tools is encouraged, along with a dedication to staying educated on current technology trends.
-
Provide design and development expertise in support of both new application development tasks and maintenance.
-
Be part of an agile team where communication skills and the ability to execute within the established development process are paramount to yours and the team's success.
-
Support the entire product lifecycle to include systems engineering and requirement analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation, and deployment.
Qualifications: Required:
-
MUST have a active TS/SCI Clearance
-
3 years experience with software development, (e.g., Java (J2EE), JavaScript, Spring, etc.) as part of a development team utilizing strict configuration management practices (e.g., git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, GitHub)
-
1 years experience with web application development to include (JavaScript, Node.js, Angular or React)
-
Intermediate debugging and run time skills needed
-
Experience with industry standard build, packaging, and deployment tools such as (Gitlab, Maven, Yum, NPM, and RPM)
-
Experience using AGILE SCRUM or other similar methodology (XP) preferred
Desired:
-
Experience in containerization for development and cloud deployment. (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Open Stack)
-
Experience with Dev Sec Ops and/or CI/CD
-
Experience in designing and developing RESTful interfaces
-
Experience with a major cloud provider, (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure)
-
Calibra experience
-
Linux experience

_________________________________________________________________________Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,700 - $134,400
