The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a UAV technologies Intern with AI Expertise to explore the limitless possibilities of drone swarms and artificial intelligence to take part in our groundbreaking projects in autonomous and semi-autonomous drone technology. As an intern in this field, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying drone platforms and programs that harness the power of AI to achieve unprecedented results.
This position will be 100% onsite in our Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD location.
Responsibilities:
- Drone Swarm Design: Work with a small team to research the design and configuration of drone swarms for various applications.
- AI Integration: Develop, implement, and fine-tune AI algorithms to enable autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, object recognition, and real-time decision-making for drone swarms.
- Data Processing: Establish data pipelines for collecting and processing data generated by drone swarms, and work with AI models to extract actionable insights.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Completion of college coursework in a related discipline.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology.
- Strong programming skills (Python, C++, or similar).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
- Must currently be enrolled in full-time Associates or Undergraduate degree program.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$43,900 - 87,900 USD
