CACI's National Mission Systems department within the Space Market is seeking a talented Signal Processing/RF Communications Engineer. We specialize in developing innovative, technology-driven solutions that provide decision advantages for national security missions. Our collaborative approach and unique client engagement processes offer exceptional opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
-
Design, develop, debug, and test signal processing algorithms for various platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and government missions.

Create and implement software and DSP algorithms.
-
Develop and integrate Machine Learning applications.
-
Maintain and enhance X-Midas and M2Extra tools used by signal analysts.
-
Contribute to defining requirements, CONOPs, and architecture for future systems.
-
Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software for engineering tasks.
-
Develop analytic signal processing tools.
Qualifications: Required:
-
Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
-
3+ years of experience in relevant engineering disciplines
-
Strong background in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theory
-
Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Python, Java, C++, or similar)
-
Linux software development experience
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Experience with full software development lifecycle
-
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information effectively
Desired:

Back-end development in Python
-
Experience with inter-process communication (e.g., ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
-
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
-
Expertise in automation of signal processing workflows

Experience with X-Midas for RF systems development
-
Signal processing using MATLAB, Octave, or similar tools
-
Familiarity with telemetry systems • Understanding of error-correcting codes and digital video formats

Experience with target tracking systems and machine learning
-
Knowledge of weapons systems design and development
-
Skill in developing link budgets and system sensitivity assessments
-
Expertise in Geolocation, Direction Finding, Kalman filtering, and Polyphase filtering

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$86,600 - $181,800
