The Opportunity:CACI is seeking an experienced Senior Windows Scripter to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing automations for routine operations including Software Installation, Enterprise Patching and system configurations. This role requires advanced technical expertise in PowerShell, Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), and WindowsRM
Responsibilities:

Automation Development: Develop PowerShell scripts to automate routine and complex operations, software installation, patching, and system configurations.

Infrastructure Management: Manage Windows Server/Desktop environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and SCCM 2012 R2/2016+ for patching.

Monitoring and Reporting: Create customized monitoring and reporting tools using PowerShell/WMI.
-
Script Lifecycle Management: Review, maintain, and optimize existing scripts for performance, security, and reliability.

Technical Leadership: Lead technical teams in designing automations for infrastructure changes, server/VM design (VMware ESXi), and troubleshooting complex system issues.

Security & Compliance: Work with security teams to ensure systems meet compliance standards via automated security checks
Qualifications:
Required:
-
10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).

Scripting Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of PowerShell (essential), with experience in VBScript, SQL, Python, Visual Basic, or C#.
-
Windows Ecosystem: Deep understanding of Windows Operating Systems, including knowledge of Windows Event Logs, WMI, CBS, and use of PowerShell to manage the Windows operating system and components.

Tools: Proficient with SCCM, and virtualization technology (ESXi).

Certifications: IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+).

Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level clearance

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,400 - $198,200
