The Opportunity:CACI is seeking a highly skilled Army Budget Operations & Support Analyst.
This is a part time position on site in Ft Detrick, MD.
This role involves preparing and analyzing budgetary activities, providing financial guidance, and supporting management in making strategic budget decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Execution of Funds in both General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Project Management Resource Tool/Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (PMRT/CCAR)
- Prepare various funding documents (MIPRs, Direct Charge Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Purchase Requests, 7600B, etc.)
- Input and monitor Spend Plans within PMRT/CCAR for approval by management
- Reconcile CCAR and Reforecast as required
- Perform the Joint Review Quarterly within DAR-Q
- Build WBS’s within GFEBS to executing funding
- Provide financial input for various slides/presentations
- Set up annually and fund the Transportation Account Code (TAC)
- Perform analysis on funding to determine if anything needs realigned to best utilize funding and determine excess
- Reconcile and close out all open lines (contracts, travel, GPC, etc.) with GFEBS
- Perform closeout for fiscal year end
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in DoD/Army Financial Management, specifically within a Budget Analyst or Financial Technician role
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in financial analysis, contract management, financial operations, and/or program/project management
- Strong understanding of budget execution responsibilities
- Considerable knowledge of business resource planning and budgeting practices
- Analytical ability to research and identify budget-related issues
- Knowledge of Federal appropriations law
- Proficiency in GFEBS, CCAR, and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Direct experience executing Fiscal Year-End closeout procedures, ensuring all funds are properly obligated or de-obligated within statutory timelines.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain budget topics to various stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Active Secret Clearance

Certification: CDFM (Certified Defense Financial Manager) or CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager).

Advanced GFEBS Training: Completion of GFEBS L300-level courses (Cost Management, Funds Management, or Spending Chain).

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,700 - $165,200
