The Opportunity:
CACI’s Enterprise IT Line of Business is seeking a seasoned Technical Director to lead our cutting-edge network engineering initiatives and IT solutions. This role will focus on implementing next-generation Enterprise IT and wireless solutions for the US Government, including 5G and WAN networking. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering, IP networking, and RF propagation, Network Operations and will be responsible for driving technical excellence and innovation within our projects. You will serve as the point of contact (POC) for providing strategic direction and overseeing solutions, delivery, and program execution. You will have full responsibility for all technical aspects of contract execution, leading cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of IT solutions supporting the DoD programs (U.S. Air Force/ Army / Navy).
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and present new solution architectures to government executives and clients. Transform customer requirements into robust system requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Site Surveys and Design: Lead comprehensive site surveys, document findings, and develop engineering designs that meet scope, performance requirements, and customer criteria. Prepare final engineering drawings and change orders as needed.
- Systems Engineering: Lead the definition of IT system architectures, system modeling, and requirements development for complex wired/wireless networking and data center systems. Lead a team responsible for solution design, development, and sustainment of the Network/System.
- Integration and Testing: Oversee in-lab and in-field Integration & Test, Verification, and Validation efforts. Ensure systems meet performance criteria through pre-test and acceptance tests.
- Technical Documentation: Document all engineering solutions and provide support to project management on customer status and review presentations.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all solutions comply with contract specifications, quality standards, and industry standards such as DoD, EIA/TIA, and RUS. Coordinate with internal functional teams to identify and fulfill IT solution requirements to meet customer objectives.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and technicians and serve as a technical lead on projects. Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure adherence to CACI’s Ethical and Compliance policies.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with government and subcontractor teams at customer sites for seamless integration into existing infrastructure. Develop and deliver technical presentations for clients and serve as a technical resource at customer briefings. Work directly with client executives to ensure mission and delivery success through enterprise development consolidation.
Qualifications:
Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Experience: 10 years of related experience in Enterprise IT and Systems Engineering. Prior experience providing solutions for a large DoD/Federal customers, or a portfolio of programs, with size, scale and complexity.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft software applications (Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and experience with drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio or AutoCAD.

Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills.

Organization: Excellent organizational and time management skills. High degree of attention to detail and organization skills.

Teamwork: Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining cooperative, force multiplying relationships with peers within the company.

Certifications: Industry certifications in Networking, Enterprise IT or relevant IT certifications. (ie. Cisco Certified Network Professional)

Clearance: Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance. (US Citizenship required)

_________________________________________________________________________Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$130,600 - $287,200
