The Opportunity:
CACI’s Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a multi-disciplined COMSEC Engineer in support of the Army Comprehensive Modernization program. From conducting site surveys to implementing innovative designs, you’ll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations.

Responsibilities:
-
Assist in the deployment and configuration of communication security systems, including encryption devices, key management systems, and secure communication protocols.
-
Support the management of cryptographic keys, including generation, distribution, storage, and revocation, in compliance with organizational policies and standards.
-
Assess communication systems for security breaches, anomalies, and potential threats. Recommend solutions to prevent further security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
-
Ensure that all communication security practices comply with relevant regulations, standards, and policies (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC, DoD regulations).
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of COMSEC procedures, configurations, and incident reports.
-
Provide training and support to staff on communication security best practices and procedures. Assist in developing COMSEC awareness programs.

Participate in internal and external security audits and assessments. Prepare reports and implement recommendations to enhance security posture.
Qualifications:

US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance

Degree: Technical BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or a related field

Experience: 3 years in communication security, cryptography, or a related field.

Commensurate: High School diploma or associate degree plus a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Communications Security (COMSEC) for large, complex programs/systems

Knowledge of network security principles and practices

Experience with key management systems and encryption technologies

Specific Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio); experience working with Do
D or USG programs:

Certification(s): DoDI 8140.03 IAM Level I; Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$60,100 - $123,200
