The Opportunity
CACI's Enterprise IT (EIT) Sector is seeking a skilled AV/VI/VTC Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud and virtualization infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. This role requires a deep understanding of VTC technologies, systems engineering principles, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VTC system architecture, integration, and management. You'll contribute to delivering high-performance, secure and modern network solutions that enhance mission readiness across Army CONUS locations. Responsibilities
- Design and architect AV/VI/VTC systems, including hardware, software, and network components
- Develop detailed system specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide implementation and maintenance
- Ensure VTC systems align with organizational standards, policies, and industry best practices
- Integrate VTC systems with other IT infrastructure components, such as network, security, and data systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of VTC systems with existing technologies
- Evaluate and recommend new VTC technologies and solutions to enhance system performance and capabilities
- Oversee the implementation and deployment of VTC systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute system deployments
- Conduct testing and validation of VTC systems to ensure functionality and reliability
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for VTC systems, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system upgrades
- Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance VTC communication quality and reliability
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, secure buy-in, and ensure AV/VI/VTC systems align with business objectives
- Facilitate communication between IT teams, project managers, and other relevant parties
- Prepare reports on system performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement
- Troubleshoot complex problems and work with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents
- Provides daily supervision and direction to staff
Qualifications
Required
- US citizen with Top Secret security clearance; SCI eligible
- Technical bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field of study plus at least 10 years of VTC system architecture, design and implementation experience (High School diploma or associate degree plus a minimum of 15 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or equivalent
- Certified Video Conferencing Professional (CVCP) or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of VTC technologies (e.g., Cisco Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in network protocols, security, and IT infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range: $108,900 - $239,500
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
