The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Solution Architect (Level 2) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with a focus on designing and implementing robust cloud solutions that meet our enterprise’s strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and the ability to architect hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Strategy Development: Design and implement the enterprise’s cloud migration strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and security standards.
  • Architecture Design: Create detailed architecture designs for cloud solutions, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep to automate and manage cloud infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance on cloud solutions.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure all cloud solutions comply with security policies and standards, given the TS/SCI clearance requirement.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, designs, and implementations.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.

  • Clearance: TS/SCI

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in IT.
  • Minimum of 3 years in cloud solutions and architecture.

Skills:

  • Good understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience in designing enterprise cloud migration strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Proficient in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.

Certifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Associate
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Security

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
  • Certifications in additional security frameworks or cloud services.
