Product Designer - Global Payment

At Global Payment UED, we shape how millions of people around the world pay, borrow, save and manage money across the Byte Dance ecosystem.
We are building the next generation of financial experiences for global products including Tik Tok, Tik Tok Shop and other Byte Dance platforms. Our designers work at the intersection of product strategy, user research, data, AI and craft to solve complex financial challenges across diverse markets.
We're looking for Full-stack Product Designers who think beyond interfaces. You'll define product direction, uncover user insights, leverage AI and data to accelerate decision-making, and create experiences that are intuitive, trusted and scalable for users around the world.

• This role will be based onsite at our office and will require a 5-day onsite work arrangement.
• Our Company will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Our Company's sponsorship of a visa.

Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end product design from opportunity discovery and strategy through interaction, visual systems and product delivery.
• Transform ambiguous business and user problems into clear product experiences supported by research, data and experimentation.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science and regional market teams to shape product strategy and influence key decisions.
• Apply systems thinking to build scalable design solutions across multiple markets while balancing global consistency with market-specific needs.
• Leverage AI throughout the design process to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, content creation and design production.
• Use quantitative and qualitative insights to continuously improve user experience, product performance and business outcomes.
• Contribute to and evolve our global payment design system, ensuring high quality and consistency across products.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification(s)

• Experience working on global products across multiple markets while balancing market-specific user needs.

• Experience leading design initiatives, mentoring designers, and/or driving design quality and standards across teams.

• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, growth metrics, and data analysis, with the ability to use data to inform design decisions.

• Self-driven and highly resourceful, with strong critical thinking and the ability to independently identify problems, navigate ambiguity, and drive solutions.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as Product Managers, Tech, and other business teams.

• Proficiency in Figma and other relevant design tools.

• Preferred Qualification(s)

• Experience designing consumer financial products, such as payments, digital wallets, BNPL, lending, cards, or banking products.

• Experience using modern AI-powered design tools to enhance design workflows, ideation, prototyping, or product development.
