Job Role and Responsibility:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our System
Testing team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in networking (L2/L3/L4) with
knowledge of protocols, switching, routing, and TCP/IP. Additionally, the candidate should be
well versed in testing methodologies and automation. This role involves working with L4-L7 load
balancer at the system test level, focusing on performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

 Design, setup and configure, and test L4-L7 level load balancer to ensure high
performance and reliability
 Identify testing requirements, create comprehensive test plans, and perform manual
testing.
 Develop automation for each test outlined in the test plan.
 Analyze and reproduce issues reported by customers, and provide effective solutions.
 Perform packet debugging and analysis
 Identify areas where scripting and automation can improve network operations and
suggest appropriate solutions
 Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure network requirements are met
and automated as needed
 Stay up to date with networking trends and technologies, recommending improvements
as necessary
 Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders
 Drive discussions independently with Product Managers (PMs), field engineering teams,
support staff, and customers to ensure alignment and address requirements effectively.

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
 Over 8 years of experience as a QA engineer with a solid foundation in test design
methodology principles.
 Experience with network testing and debugging tools, along with a thorough
understanding of L2, L3, and L4 protocols, as well as switching, routing, and TCP/IP.
 Proficient in scripting and automation, preferably using Python. Prior experience with
automation using REST API is a plus.
 Prior experience in system testing and interop testing will be preferred.
 Working knowledge of VMware technologies (such as VMware Cloud Foundation),
including Hypervisors
 Familiar with Jenkins and GIT for version control and network automation, with familiarity
in CI/CD methodologies and tools being beneficial.
 Knowledge of Public Cloud, Linux Systems and Kubernetes areas is a plus

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
