Let me tell you about the role

We are seeking a highly capable Technical Product Manager to lead the product strategy, roadmap, and backlog manage bps **Engineering experience. From managing Engineering Onboarding Experience to bp to Shipping Products** and the application of engineering tools such as the **Yalla Internal Developer Platform**, and bps AI tooling ecosystem this is an opportunity to contribute and provide key technical product management capability to bp`s engineering team

This role exists to enable engineering squads to deliver faster, safer, and at scale by making customer requirements into actionable backlog items, managing engineering backlog, and scaling engineering and AI platforms across bp. You will define the product backlog, prioritize features, drive cross‑functional execution, and ensure that engineers can onboard, build, and ship solutions efficiently using modern, AI‑augmented, enterprise‑grade tooling.

Sitting at the heart of engineering enablement, this role translates bp’s digital strategy into a coherent product roadmap for engineering teams that improves productivity, increases platform adoption, drives consistency, and unlocks measurable business value.

What you will deliver

1.

Technical Product Management for Engineering:

Own and develop the product vision, roadmap, backlog for engineering onboarding-to-shipping solutions experience, ensuring new engineers can become productive quickly, consistently, and safely across bp’s engineering environment.

2.

Yalla Internal Developer Platform Enablement:

Define and evolve the product strategy for Yalla, driving adoption of platform capabilities, workflows, self‑service tools, and AI‑powered features across engineering squads to scale the platform globally.

3. Engineering‑to‑Shipping Journey

Lead the product lifecycle for the engineering‑to‑shipping pipeline—from code readiness, quality gates, and compliance through to ship, deploy, and operate—ensuring streamlined, predictable pathways for teams delivering software and platform components.

AI Tooling Integration & Enablement:

Partner with AI Engineering to prioritize and roll out responsible, secure, high‑value AI tools (e.g., coding assistants, automation patterns, Dev Ex AI, governance tooling) that improve developer experience and squad throughput.

5. Cross‑Functional Leadership in a Matrix Environment

Coordinate across engineering, platform, security, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment, unblock delivery, manage dependencies, and maintain delivery predictability for platform and onboarding experiences.

Outcome Measurement & Continuous Improvement:

Define KPIs/OKRs that measure engineering productivity, onboarding effectiveness, Yalla adoption, and ship‑journey performance; use insights to drive continuous product iteration and value realization.

What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)

  • 6+ years of combined experience in product management, software engineering and/or program management

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Business or equivalent work experience

  • Strong background in software engineering or platform engineering, with the ability to engage deeply with technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in product management for platforms, developer tooling, or engineering systems.

  • Experience working with internal developer platforms (IDPs), developer experience (Dev Ex), or platform/product enablement teams.

  • Familiarity with Yalla, Azure, AWS, or similar platform ecosystems.

  • Experience deploying or scaling GenAI or AI‑assisted developer tools.

  • Exposure to large‑scale engineering organizations or energy/industrial environments.

  • Certifications in product management, Agile, or program management (PSPO, PMI‑ACP, SAFe, etc.).

  • Proven ability to drive adoption of internal platforms or large‑scale engineering tooling.

  • Experience with cloud-native development, DevOps, CI/CD tooling, and engineering lifecycle processes.

  • Understanding of AI tooling for engineering workflows (e.g., code generation, automation, MLOps concepts).

  • Strong leadership in a matrix organization; able to influence without authority.

  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
