Technical Services Specialist – Industrial Europe

As a Technical Services Specialist – Industrial Europe, you will be the technical expert supporting our Castrol Industrial portfolio across the region. You will provide high-level technical advice on products, solutions and applications, resolve complex customer challenges, and deliver impactful technical training to both internal and external stakeholders.

This role plays a key part in strengthening customer satisfaction, enabling sales success, and reinforcing our reputation for quality and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for complex application requirements and resolve technical queries quickly and effectively

  • Partner closely with Sales teams to support prospect and pipeline management as the technical authority within the agreed market framework

  • Visit customers when required to diagnose and resolve product or application-related challenges

  • Coordinate and support product trials, including interpretation of laboratory reports and technical data

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lubrication science, industry trends and technical innovations

  • Deliver technical training to internal staff, sales teams, distributors, technical service vendors and customers

  • Empower the field force through structured technical knowledge sharing

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in technical service delivery and customer experience

What We’re Looking For

Education

  • Relevant technical certification or engineering degree

Experience

  • Strong technical understanding of lubricants and product applications

  • Engineering or technical background required

  • Experience supporting industrial customers or working within technical service environments is highly desirable

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise in the science of lubrication

  • Strong knowledge of Castrol product ranges and industrial offers

  • Solid understanding of industry trends and customer operations across multiple sectors

  • Relevant language skills for the European market
