About the role

In charge of collections activity for the relevant portfolio supported by the team to ensure trade debtor balances are tightly controlled and compliant to the Downstream Credit Policy. This includes regular contact with internal/external partners in order to reach yearly goals/targets.

Key Accountabilities

  • Effective cash collection and monitoring of customer accounts in compliance with bp’s Credit standards & policies

  • Supervise credit violations and inform / involve all relevant partners within their DOA

  • Dealing with customer accounts and keeping them fully reconciled

  • Coordinating AR activities in the relevant ERP systems

  • Adhere to the Team’s regular KPI’s (such as working conditions and performance)

  • Deal promptly with customer disputes / issues in order to secure payments as per the escalation path

  • Maintain and develop working relationship with Crossfunctions (incl: Sales, Customer Service team etc)

  • Be able to identify key, strategic or high-risk business customers and issues and initiate actions with the relevant partners

  • Apply all communication channels to resolve issues and perform daily tasks

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement efforts, initiate and raise „quick wins”

  • Compliance with all relevant Credit Management-related and QMS/EMS policies

Requirements

  • Any kind of College Degree or Economics (High School) or equivalent experience in similar position with relevant language and hard/soft skills

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish

  • Able to deal with sophisticated situations independently while maintaining the right balance of customer and business focus

  • Able to produce consistent, high-quality information within tight deadlines

  • Aware of bp’s Values & Behaviors

  • Has a potential for further growth
