Join our team and advance your career as a Europe HSE&C Advisor.

In this role you will:

  • Provide guide mentorship ensure HSE&C risks across the Europe Performance Unit are identified, assessed, and effectively handled

  • Support the delivery of the Global and Europe HSE&C strategy and plan

  • Partner with collaborators across lubricant plants and CMS sites across Europe, as well as distribution hubs and commercial teams, to ensure compli

  • ance with regulatory and bp requirements

  • Drive a strong and consistent HSE&C culture across European operations, promoting guidelines and continuous improvement

  • Supervise HSE&C performance, identify trends, and intervene or escalate where needed to ensure corrective actions

  • Support and lead incident management activities, including investigations and follow-up actions

  • Enable the implementation of key HSE&C systems, processes, and standards (e.g. OMS, Control of Work, risk management, process safety)

  • Build capability within the organisation by supporting training, competence development, and awareness programmes

  • Act as the HSE&C focal point for Belgium, ensuring legal compliance and supporting local operations

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including works councils, to implement HSE&C initiatives

  • Travel across Europe (~25%) to support sites and stakeholders

  • What you will need to be successful:

  • A university degree (or equivalent experience); a formal HSE&C qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma) is a strong advantage

  • Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1 (Belgium requirement)

  • Significant experience in HSE&C or operational roles with strong HSE&C accountability

  • Proven understanding of HSE&C standards, regulations, and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

  • Experience working in manufacturing or operational environments

  • Ability to influence and engage collaborators across different levels and locations

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with both operational and critical thinking capability

  • Excellent communication skills with professional proficiency in English and French (local language required
