- Engineering role where base location is Silvassa and details mentioned below:
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Deputy Manager
- Engineering to contribute to the successful execution of engineering projects and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. This role will involve collaborating with diverse teams, managing project timelines and resources, and effectively communicating technical information.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, schedule, and prioritisation.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers, including contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to achieve project goals.
- Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including management, project teams, and external partners.
- Proactively identify and resolve conflicts or obstacles that may arise during project lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations.
- Ensure all engineering activities align with and practices, and Castrol's OMS
- Champion Project HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) best practices and contribute to all projects.
- Influence project teams and customers to adopt protocols & adhere to established guidelines.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations on project progress, technical findings, and proposed solutions.
- Manage and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines and achieve project achievements.
- Contribute continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards within the organization.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in engineering project execution and management.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant engineering codes, industry standards, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in conflict management and influencing stakeholders.
- Familiarity with OMS (Operating Management System) and bp requirements is highly desirable.
- Experience in Project HSSE and understanding of safe design and operating limits.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules, resources, and workload prioritization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
