Job Description:

Industrial senior technologist oil takes the mission of delivering integrated solutions and added values to internal/external customers in a safe, professional, reliable, and efficient way with their inspiring creativity in lubricant formulation, rich experience in applied technologies and strong expertise in services for lubricant industries. Industrial senior technologist oil will take various responsibilities as an important part of bp Castrol local technical platform and global technology community where bp Castrol core competence in technology is established and developed to satisfy customers demands at present and in the future.
Industrial senior technologist will play leader/driver or supporter role in technical programs, especially new formulation development, formulation changes, technical support and service and expert opinions input, targeting business growth and technology innovation. The senior technologist will dedicate to technical programs following an integrated end-to-end process covering the whole product service life or solution offering cycle as the Single Point of Accountability (SPA) in technology team, categorized by product portfolio, industrial sectors or application scenarios.
As the senior technologist focusing on oil, this role will support or lead various activities of establishing, developing and reinforcing Castrol’s technology capabilities and competitiveness in oil areas, following the strategy of business unit and technology team. This role will ensure smooth daily operation of oil
topics, especially formulation development and technical support activities in their working scopes.
This role will keep close connections with partner teams and external partners for industrial trends and technological innovations and build up concept on growing areas for Castrol.
