Responsible for supporting manufacturing and operations leadership by analyzing manufacturing and warehouse processes and production line designs and supporting the implementation of improvements. Reviewing existing routing times to identify variances and correct/improved planned throughput times. Leading cross functional teams in the allocation of resources including floor space that ensures optimized process efficiencies with an inter-departmental mindset. Supporting Controlling and Facilities by maintaining production floor layout documentation including allocations of machinery, equipment and floor space. Designing fixtures and Methods Time Measurement (MTM) studies, leading Preventive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives, and supporting other manufacturing initiates when required. Focusing on internal safety, quality, delivery and cost.

  • Implementation of designed improvements (co-ordination and execution)

  • Cycle time analysis and routing time updates

  • Developing tools and supporting engineering in correct routing and cost time estimates at the time of quotation for Material Master Date management (ensuring material data is available in time)

  • Lead the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives

  • Reporting and Key Performance Indicators management

  • Requisition of indirect materials to support manufacturing and warehouse (including new MAE)

  • 5S implementation and assessment

  • Implement QHSE on MAEs

  • Perform time studies in operation activities

  • Line design and floor layout design

  • Utilize BPS, CIP and 5S principles. Impacting in a positive manner on Quality, Delivery and Cost.

  • Business Administration or Technical Degree and/or diploma required.

  • Experience in a manufacturing-oriented organization, utilizing skills in project management, organizing and working in functional teams.

  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts and application of problem-solving tools in a production or warehouse environments.

  • Working knowledge in the following software: Solid works, AutoCAD and MS project.

  • Able to work with control systems, including PLCs and data network interfaces.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Preventive Maintenance (TPM)

  • Problem Solving tools

  • Safety at Work

  • Proficient with CAD programs (AutoCAD and Solid Works)

  • Proficient with Methods Time Measurement studies (understand of N62C)

  • Knowledge of Technical Engineering Functions Standards & Procedures

  • Knowledge of Lean/BPS concepts (5S, BRight Ideas, 8 wastes, Lean Line Design, Line Balancing, Spaghetti & Bubble diagrams, Value Stream Planning and Value Stream Organization)

  • Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office package

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Visio)

  • Cost and Budget Analysis for indirect procurement (ROI & CAPEx).

  • Experience in SAP Production Planning, Warehouse Management or Plant Maintenance modules

  • Classic and Agile Project Management as per PMI standards (scope design, project plan & control, risk analysis, project quality, and protect closure)

  • Indirect Materials acquisition and supplier interface (negotiation skills)

  • QHSE requirements (focus on MAEs and workplace Quality, health and Safety)

  • KPI Tree concept and KPI Management
