• Defining and documenting the overall system architecture for ADAS features, including hardware and software components and communication interfaces

• Collaborating with different engineering teams (software, hardware, testing, validation) to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the system architecture

• Leading system design discussions and making architectural decisions based on technical feasibility, performance requirements, and cost constraints

• Analyzing customer requirements and translating them into system-level specifications

• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in ADAS technologies and incorporating them into the system architecture

• Contributing to technical proposals and acquisitions for new ADAS projects

• Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in system architecture design and development, preferably in the automotive industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts

• Fluent in English and Japanese on business level

Preferred:

• Strong understanding of ADAS technologies, including sensor fusion, perception, planning, and control
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, etc.)
• Proficiency in system modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Enterprise Architect, Lemon Tree, Git).
