Bosch e Bike Systems is expanding its digital and connected-service offerings, building cloud-powered solutions that complement its drive units, sensors, and user applications. The division’s vision is to create a secure, scalable, and highly reliable digital ecosystem that enhances the e Bike experience for riders, manufacturers, and service partners.

The project focuses on operating and evolving the cloud infrastructure that supports connected features, data exchange, backend services, and digital products across the e Bike ecosystem. This includes ensuring reliability, performance, and security of cloud environments, enabling development teams to deliver high-quality software at scale.

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team responsible for running and improving the cloud backbone of Bosch e Bike’s digital services. Your contributions will ensure stable operations, smooth deployments, and continuous improvement of the platform that powers the next generation of connected e Bike innovations.

• Manage and maintain the company's cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.

• Administer and support Kubernetes clusters.

• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of the infrastructure.

• Collaborate with development teams to support their infrastructure and networking needs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, DNS, Web Application Firewall.

• Continuously improve the infrastructure by staying up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.

• MSc or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or similar roles, with a strong focus on Cloud Operations.

• Proficient in managing and migrating cloud infrastructure, particularly on AWS. Experience with VPC, EKS, CloudFront, S3, CloudWatch, and Transit Gateway.

• Strong experience with Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker. Proven ability to manage Kubernetes clusters.

• Experience with monitoring cloud infrastructure using Prometheus and Grafana. Familiarity with log management solutions like fluent-bit.

• Understanding of cloud networking concepts, including Transit Gateway, VPC flow logs, and security groups.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and address infrastructure issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a history of working closely with development teams.

• Proactive, customer and result-oriented personality.
