The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting process/product improvement and new product development to ensure they meet performance, quality, manufacturing, and cost requirements. S/He must be able to work well in a team environment and possess effective communication skills and technical expertise.
- Education:* *Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 1+ years of industry experience in a product development and manufacturing environment.
Knowledge
- Intermediate proficiency in NX required
- Intermediate knowledge of materials and processes
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of sheet metal
- Basic knowledge of product development best practices such as DFM, DOE, DFMEA, and Lean PD.
- Basic knowledge of drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing preferred.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as medical equipment a plus.
Additional information
- Experience working with some of the following: HVACs, ACs, refrigeration systems.
- Used to work with a team
- Advanced english
