As a Controlling Process Expert, you will act as the **key financial process owner and SAP key user **for our San Luis Potosí Plant. You will ensure accurate month-end closing, reliable cost reporting, and robust financial data integrity across systems.This role bridges operational performance with financial governance, your insights and system expertise will directly support strategic decision-making and the plant’s financial sustainability.
Tasks and responsibilities:

Analyze, review, and execute month-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial postings and proper system functionality.

Perform reconciliation of internal and external general ledger accounts (PCA – COPA).

Conduct variance analysis by identifying and evaluating deviations between actual and planned results, providing clear explanations of root causes.

Monitor and tr ack financial and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.

Prepare financial projections under different forecast scenarios (CF02, CF05, CF09, CF11), Business Plan (BP), and long-term calculations.

Develop detailed, accurate, and reliable financial and operational reports for internal stakeholders.

Manage and maintain ERP systems: SAP & Essbase.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant SAP modules in compliance with internal controlling directives (CD) and financial reporting standards (NIFs / IFRS).

Lead and support Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives, including automation and implementation of new technologies in daily operations and projects.

Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements, including proper follow-up and corrective actions.

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering.

💬 Fluent in English (written and spoken).

🧾 2–3 years of experience in similar positions, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

⚖️ Solid understanding of Accounting Standards (GAAP & IFRS) and their practical application.

🧠 Strong analytical mindset,results orientation, and excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

🗣️ Confident and assertive communicator, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly to both management and non-financial audiences.

💻 Excellent IT skills: advanced MS Office(Excel, Smart View, Power BI),SAP (CO & FI modules), and Oracle solutions (Essbase).

📈 Experience in forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modeling.

🤝 Strong collaboration skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
