We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in the new e Bike projects in cooperation with the existent team.

• Help shape the future: As a design engineer you will be responsible for the design of the products starting from the analysis of the requirements, concept creation, feasibility analysis until the introduction into serial production for Bosch e Bike Systems (displays and remote controls);

• Take responsibility: You will be responsible for translating product requirements into 3D design and drawings of mechanical parts, coordination of topics with the production plant, alignment with the suppliers and creation of mass production documentation;

• Reliable implementation: On base of the requirements' analysis, you make sure that the product design fulfils the process needs and support the development of the assembly process and joining technologies with internal and external partners;

• Structured observation: You are responsible for coordinating the design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews and ensuring a smooth industrialization from concept to mass production.

• Completed university degree (Bachelor or Master degree) in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• More than 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design;

• Knowledge in 3D design and drawing creation include GD&T (PTC CREO experience would be preferred);

• Strong industrial know-how of mechanical processes, machines and technologies (e.g. injection, welding, gluing, taping, automated assembly);

• Experience in the coordination of suppliers and manufacturing partners will be a plus;

• Knowledge in consumer electronics outdoor products or display/ECU/IoT products will be preferred;

• Reliable, team player and assertive;

• Willingness to travel and intercultural competence

• Fluent in spoken and written English
