Manufacturing execution systems specialist with experience in industrial automation domain. The candidate will have a strong background in implementing MES packages for discrete manufacturing and front-end development using Angular 17 or higher, backend development in C# and a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services, and .NET design principles.

• Hands on in Manufacturing Execution System Software like Wonderware MES, Rockwell automation, GE Proficiency, Siemens Op-Center etc.
• In-depth understanding of production process in discrete manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with people at various levels including production, engineering, and management and to be able to work well with and develop a partnering relationship with other team members.
• Solid understanding of digital manufacturing concepts, MES technology operation, and enterprise IT/OT integration.
• Experience on Machine connectivity protocols like OPC DA/UA, MQTT, API’s etc.
• Experience in programming/developing/configuring HMI and SCADA systems, preferably Ignition.
• Experience in machine data collection via OPC, preferably from SIEMENS PLC environments.
• Working experience working as a developer or integrator on MES Systems, preferably in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular 17 or higher.
• Write clean, maintainable, and responsive CSS/SASS/SCSS styles to ensure a consistent look and feel across different platforms and devices.
• Solid understanding of modern CSS practices and preprocessors like SASS/SCSS.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and modern web standards.
• Experience with Git version control system and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services.
• Design, and develop backend logic, and application workflows that integrate with WPF UIs
• Apply design principles to create well-structured and maintainable code.
• Develop and maintain backend services for WPF and XAML applications.
• Write unit test cases.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in C#.
• Frameworks: Experience with the .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• APIs: Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Databases: Proficiency in SQL and experience with Mongo DB
• Scrum methodology

Responsibilities:

• Technical support to MES team (incident management, updates, system monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution, etc.) that help optimize manufacturing processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
• Develop and maintain web services and interfaces, contribute the front-end and back-end development process and infrastructure for the MES. This includes communications between the MES and ERP, PLCs as well as other data sources.
• Providing technical input to help troubleshoot issues in other areas during MES usage.
• Implementation of enhancements at customer factories for all phases of the deployments (requirements gathering, definitions, test, implementation, etc.), interfacing with operations, quality, process engineering, control engineering and product development areas.

Good to have:

Knowledge of industry standards ISA95, ISA88 and MESA.
