We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated First Year Apprentice to join our Production and Service team in Kings Park, NSW. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in mechanical fitting and hydraulics, eager to learn the trade while building a long-term career with Bosch Rexroth.
As an Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards your Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining). You’ll be mentored by experienced Bosch Rexroth Hydraulic Technicians and Application Engineers, developing your skills across all areas of hydraulic fitting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the Production and Service team with hydraulic fitting and service activities.
- Assisting with the assembly, disassembly, inspection, and testing of hydraulic power units, pumps, motors, slides/builds, conversions and other hydraulic relevant products.
- Learning safe work practices, precision fitting, and machining techniques.
- Building knowledge through a combination of formal training and on-the-job experience.
- Contributing as a valued member of a supportive and skilled team.
What We’re Looking For
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Completion of School Certificate or Higher School Certificate.
- Sound achievement in Maths and English.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an eagerness to learn.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- High attention to detail with a proactive work ethic.
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Prior exposure to industrial or mining environments (advantageous but not essential).
