Roles & Responsibilities :

We are looking for a competent Security Asst. / Dy. Manager to organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Security personnel (Outsourced) will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards.

As security manager, you will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. You will need a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. Since you will have several people under your responsibility, you must also exhibit leadership skills.

The goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected.

Overall Responsibility: -

a) Business and strategic task

• Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents on CSO instruction.
• Act as point of contact for security topics, advising business units on risk-based protection concepts for upcoming projects/ODC establishment.
• Oversee relationships with security vendors and coordinate installation or replacement of security systems.
• Handling of New SASAM project elevating access control systems to industry’s pioneering solution.
• Committed to maintaining a secure and compliant environment, showcasing tangible improvements in operational and security metrics.
• Stay informed about travel trends, offering personalized security advice for traveler safety and well-being.
• Continuously updating and amending policies to align with evolving trends and preparing audit-ready documentation to meet regulatory requirements.

b) Operational topics

• Managing security operations for BGSW Locations.
• Directing team to implement and manage guard force at sites, including contracts, budget management, & support to concerned stakeholders with efficient daily operations.
• Manage Resources: Ensure adequate security resources and equipment are available and properly maintained.
• Conduct Security Drills: Organize regular mock drills (L1/L2/L3) to prepare the team for various emergency scenarios/evacuations.
• Conduct Night Patrol and Security Checks: Perform night patrols to ensure adherence to security protocols and deter potential threats.
• Monitor Surveillance Systems: Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of access control systems, surveillance equipment, and other security technologies.
• Investigate Incidents: Investigate security breaches, incidents, and violations, document findings, and recommend improvements.
• Women Security: Ensure Govt. guidelines are followed, ensuring escort support to women associates during late hours.

c) Process and Technology

• Ensuring Quality fixation of security devices and end-to-end integration with BGSW platforms.
• Conduct Audits: Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.

· Security Automation: Planned implementation of security systems like electronic security systems, CCTV systems, central control room operations, access control, and video surveillance at new projects. Analyzing automation failures, identifying root cause of failures, interacting with concerned teams and application owners for resolution. Well versed with systems like Euro net and Genetic Systems.

d) Special assignments

• Coordinate with Departments: Collaborate with department managers to determine security needs and integrate security requirements into business processes
• Coordinate Crisis Management: Assist in the development and execution of crisis management and business continuity plans.
• Oversee and monitor the performance of contract guard services, ensuring compliance with performance guidelines and contract SLAs ensuring KPI/KRA are met.
• Promoting employee awareness on security related topic
• Implement Crime Prevention Measures: Develop and implement crime prevention measures and educating associates via awareness initiatives.

Educational qualification:

• Graduation from a reputed University.
• Individual with an experience of 07-10+Years in MNC in a manager role. (Preference for Armed Forces/Police Veterans)
• Relevant Security Certification.

Experience :

• Work experience in security management, law enforcement or a combination of physical security disciplines.

Mandatory/requires Skills :

Experience with CCTV, Access Control Systems, & Security Gadgets.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
• Train subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures.
• Plan security for special and high-risk events.
• Review financial reports to ensure efficiency and quality of security operations.
• Develop budgets for security operations.
• Order security-related supplies and equipment as needed.
• Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to keep abreast of changes in executive legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operations.
• Arrange for or perform executive protection activities.
• Recommend security procedures for security call centers, operations centers, domains, asset classification systems, system acquisition, system development, system maintenance, access control, program models, or reporting tools.
• Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
• Collect and analyze security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments.
